Amazon have just announced that they will be changing the fee structure for Multi Channel Fulfillment orders. Normally when we hear such change we expect a increase. But this update is actually the opposite Amazon are lowering there fee for multi channel fufilment orders.
Effective from April 1st, 2020 ( No this isn’t a pre-April fools joke) Amazon will be lowering there fees by up to 30%. The decrease will depend on the size and the shipping option that you have selected. Amazon has actually introduced a few new size tears to help reduce the rates for standard shipping.
Quick overview of the changes made:
- Introduced new sized tiers for Stand and Expiated Shipping.
- Reduction in shipping rates for Standard Shipping
- Reduction in shipping rates for Expedited (2-day Shipping.)
Fee Structure For Multichannel Fulfillment
Standard 3-5 Business Day Shipping:

Expedited 2-Day Shipping

Priority Next Day Shipping

Please note: These fee changes won’t take place until April 1st, 2020. All orders going out until then will be using the older fee structure. I will list the previous fee structure below.
Previous Fee Structure For Multichannel Fulfilment
Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)

Expedited Shipping ( 2 Days)

Priority Shipping ( Next Day)

After comparing the previous fee structure you can see that not only have they added a number of different tiers to the pricing. There has also been a general decrease across the board in the total amount of fees. So if you are using multi channel fulfillment to fulfil orders for your other channels this is going to be some good news for you.
